Kahoku, Ishikawa
Kahoku (かほく市, Kahoku-shi) is a city in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.
As of October 1, 2004, the city has an estimated population of 35,401 and a population density of 547 persons per km². The total area is 64.76 km².
The modern city of Kahoku was established in 2004, from the merger of the towns of Nanatsuka, Takamatsu and Unoke (all from Kahoku District).
